On the soccer field, early morning practices are feeling as crisp and fresh as the new Wasatch Girls’ teams. Tryouts finished on Tuesday, July 31st and three new rosters full of eager players are now prepping for their first match day this week.
The Varsity team is packed with seniors ready to make 2018 a year to remember, not to mention a few scrappy underclassmen excited to do their part. With new head coach and program director, Gretchen Zigante, the girls are putting in hard practice time to prep for the upcoming season. They look strong, focused, and enthusiastic about the challenges ahead.
The JV team, under the direction of new coach Ariel Partridge, is focused on player development and program growth. With a full roster of experienced players, the JV team looks to have an equally strong season.
Coaches Lani Sayer and Ashley Painter return to helm the Freshman team to guide the girls through their first season together. The team is loaded with potential and excited to start their high school careers on the right foot.
