  • Skyridge Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory
  • Wasatch Wasps Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 9-1 loss to Skyridge on Friday. Skyridge scored on an error, a single by Jaxon Peck, and a single by Kai Roberts in the second inning.
  • The Wasatch Wasps Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Skyridge, giving up nine runs.
  • Skyridge fired up the offense in the second inning. An error scored one run for Skyridge.
  • Carter Smith led things off on the hill for Skyridge. He went six innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out 13 and walking zero.
  • Zac Webster was on the pitcher’s mound for Wasatch Wasps Varsity. He allowed six hits and five runs over three innings, walking one. Jake Post and Cole Cloward entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and a third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
  • Nick GreenhawtJackson Collett, and Brock Cloward each managed one hit to lead Wasatch Wasps Varsity.
